PARENTAL CARE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL BUSHENYI CONTINUES TO SHINE AS UNEB RELEASES 2025 PLE RESULTS.

As the 2025 Primary Leaving Examination results were released, scenes of celebration and emotion unfolded across several schools in the country, with pupils, parents, and teachers welcoming the improved performance and renewed hope for academic excellence.
The November 2025 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) was conducted under the theme: “Embracing security and holistic assessment of learners in a dynamic environment”.

The release saw Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi register a superb performance by continuing to outshine other schools in the whole district by being the only school that has candidates with 4 aggregates (2).
Mr. Tayebwa Desmond, the Headteacher Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi commended teachers for their dedication and commitment, noting that their hard work significantly contributed to the improved performance. She also praised parents for supporting their children’s education.
“Our teachers have worked tirelessly, and parents have played their role by ensuring learners are supported both at home and at school,” he said.
“Our learners also go through competency based co curricular activities like debates, spelling bee, quiz et cetera which help them to reason beyond what they are taught and this helps them to easily navigate through where others find difficulties” he continued to say.

The school Director, Mr. Trevor Yebazamukama says that the performance of these pupils is attributed to non confinement method of teaching where learners explore beyond the classroom hence getting enough exposure at region and international levels. “This exposure enables learners to do their exams with a free-flowing mind resulting into success” he said.
Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi registered a total number of 120 candidates (all sat for PLE), 112 came in grade one while only eight came in grade two with 12 pupils scoring aggregates 5. 107 pupils got D1 in science, 60 pupils got D1 in Mathematics, 29 pupils got D1 in English and 2 pupils got D1 in SST.
One of the parents whose daughter (names withheld) scored aggregates 5 appreciated Parental Care’s method of handling learners saying that the teachers and administration go beyond being mere teachers to doing parenting roles something that has greatly contributed to the school’s all times best performance.
