Our History

Parental Care Nursery school started in1988 by its sole proprietor and director , Mrs. Nshemereirwe Elvaida with one “Nursery Classroom” and kept on upgrading at the rate of one class per year until it attained 2full nursery level with nursery upper class. It later started a primary section and grew from P.1 to P.7.

The school got registered first as a nursery school under registration number PNS/P/19 in February 2000 and then as Primary school under registration number PPS/P/28 in February 2008. Parental care is therefore, now a Nursey and Primary school with day care services for nursery section , boarding facilities for both boys and girls. The school has an independent P.L.E Center.

  3. To equip learners with basic skills and knowledge to enable them utilize the environment for self development.
  4. To have a valid and reliable assessment of learners.
  5. To promote a conducive reading culture for the whole long term education.
  6. To create educative resources that aim at retaining pupils in school to complete the primary education.
  7. To create a non-violent and safe school environment for pupils especially the girl child.
