PARENTAL CARE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL BUSHENYI CELEBRATES 2025 RESULTS IN A THANKSGIVING STYLE.

On it’s Thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate 2025 PLE results, Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi chose to front 1Chronicles 16:34….”Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good…..”. The intentional verse aimed at revealing how good God has been to the school and it’s proprietors.

The function that attracted the Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni; Bishop of the Diocese of West Ankole as the main celebrant saw different individuals walk away with awards for their outstanding contributions to the school since it was founded in 1988.

Bishop Twinomujuni used the opportunity to present envelopes of appreciations to the two best performing pupils; Ahumuza Ashley and Akanyijuka Kato Arnold who obtained aggregates 4 as well as dedicating the candidates of the year 2026. Important to note is that these are the only aggregate 4 the district managed to get.

The Bishop further used the space to mentor and inspire pupils and parents to use their bodies for the holiness of Christ as well as their own health.‎

The Bishop later delivered greetings from his family and the diocese at large ‎and moved on to congratulate the school for the number of learners that they are nurturing and mentoring.‎

In his words, he confessed having known Parental before visiting the school a true testament that Parental’s achievements are visible to the outside community.‎ Bishop wished the school community success academically and in other life endeavors. He applauded Parental for choosing to do something that will better humanity.

‎He said, “to succeed, have a health body, have an informed mind, have a goal, have discipline; morally, academically and professionally, these can easily be achieved when you give your lives to Christ”. He appreciated and blessed the school for choosing him to preside over the function.‎

The School Director Ms. Elvaida Nshemereirwe told the congregation that the school has a zero tolerance to failure.

The Director introduced the best performing pupils who obtained aggregates four before the Bishop for recognition and they were awarded five hundred shillings envelope ‎each and an award of recognition.

The Director appreciated the Bishop for considering Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi to participate in D.O.W.A MDD competitions as a lone private school.‎ The Bishop was awarded for all these gestures.

Many individuals were awarded for their outstanding contributions to the school since it’s inception in 1988.

Among those recognized are Mr. Apollo Lee Kakonge, The Municipal Education Officer; Mr. Dan Mugyenyi, The Parish Priest for St. Kagwa Parish; Rev. Fr. Evarist Mutambi, the school Director and the Best performing pupils.

In his words, Mr. Apollo Lee Kakonge appreciated Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi for being that one school where you can trust that your child will excel once admitted. “The school has been consistent for the last 10 years and this has given us the parents the trust to believe in it. Every parent wants his child to exceed academically once admitted, I want to thank Parental for being that one school”. He said.

The function was graced by parents, religious leaders and politicians among others.

The pupils entertained guests in different items such as Quiz, Spelling competitions and drama.
