‎PARENTAL CARE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL BUSHENYI STUNS MUNROE PRIMARY SCHOOL TO BECOME AFRICAN CHAMPIONS.

‎Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi made Bushenyi, Uganda and East Africa proud after recording a win in debate at the 2025 Pan African Junior Schools Debate Championship held in Kigali Rwanda from 21st to 24th November, 2025.

The Pan African Junior Schools Debate Championship is the largest debating and public speaking competition in the continent of Africa. First held in Johannesburg South Africa in 2023, the championship has grown to include over 100 institutions representing over 90 countries.

The championship challenge school debaters to think critically and celebrate the diversity of our African continent.

Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi made its 2nd appearance at the championship after successful participation in Kenya (2024).‎‎

The junior championship allow pupils from Primary Four to Primary Seven.

Parental won Munroe primary school From South Africa at the final Round. The championship that had debate, public speaking and story telling categories attracted 98 participating Schools From all over Africa. Parental Care Nursery and Primary school Bushenyi will represent Africa for world Debate championship that will take place in Canada late next year.
